Govanhill Baths - Launch of Phase 1
Saturday 4 Feb sees the official opening of the Govanhill Baths Wellbeing Centre with actor Peter Mullen and MSP Nicola Sturgeon doing the honours. Its a great first step of the community to get back into the baths and start making it a central location to bring everyone together. Great work by all the volunteers who have worked so hard over the last few years to pull it together.

Babu Street Kitchen
Anyone tried the tasty sounding Babu Kitchen lunch delivery? We've had some of their tasty treats at the Queens Park but not yet given their Tiffen (Multi layered Indian Lunch boxes) service a go.
We were in India not so long ago and spotted quite a few delivery bikes zooming about laden with lunch boxes for busy office workers and Babu brought the idea to the Southside at the end of last year. Happy 2012
Happy new year to all our friends, hope you had a good break. We've both been really busy with work over the last few months so not been able to do as much Southside Happenings as we'd have liked. Will try to get back onto things properly soon and might rope in a few assistants out there for a couple of things we've got planned. Here's to a good year for us all.
