Cookie makes it into the Hot 100
Thanks to everyone who has helped make Cookie become….”More than just a café”
The Hot 100 is a list of Scots who’ve made a sizeable creative splash in 2010. It includes musicians, artists, writers, actors, fashion designers, technological innovators, shop owners, festival directors, record label heads and one mad cyclist.

It is a learning curve but we are going to keep going and will revisit some of our ideas from 2010 to make them even better.

D’Art of Pasta
Pasta making at Cookie, Monday the 10th from 6.30. £ 10 with your first glass of wine and plate of pasta. Please book to let us have an idea of numbers.
Come along for this informal chat and introduction into pasta making. We will be batching both egg and non egg based pasta and give you some fresh ideas for sauces.

Cookie is “newcomer of the year” Come and put us to the test.
Cookie received an unexpected prize this week as The List magazine awarded us the title of “Newcomer of the Year” for breaking the mould of local eating and drinking. The award was handed to Iain and Gordon at the launch of The List’s new annual guide to Food and Drink in Scotland.
It has been an amazing couple of weeks in the press for Cookie, first with the Joanna Blythman article and the Sunday Times followed up by Diner Tec in the Evening times. …read more…
